South Africa’s second most populous city, Cape Town, is a very popular destination due to the great climate, beautiful natural setting, modern infrastructure, and the wide range of things to see and do in and around the city. Located on the southern coast of Africa, Cape Town is overlooked by the iconic Table Mountain which is one of the city’s most popular attractions. Many visitors choose to reach the top via one of the numerous hiking trails, while the less energetic can make the journey using the scenic cableway. Other popular attractions in the city include the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach, as well as several other great beaches such as Clifton and Muizenberg.
