With a great mix of tropical beaches along the coast of the Indian Ocean and some of the very best safari parks in Africa, Kenya has long been a popular destination for international travelers. For the vast majority of visitors the country’s abundant wildlife is a major attraction, with national parks such as Amboseli and the Maasai Mari providing some of the best safari options in the whole of Africa. After a few days of wildlife spotting you can then relax on one of the many beaches that dot the coastline or continue the adventure with some world-class diving and snorkeling. Although English is widely spoken across much of the country, you might want to learn some basic Swahili to help you feel more at home.
