For the teaching idea in this ESOL video students are given a set of pictures that feature events in a person’s day. In pairs the students will need to put the pictures in an order of their choosing and then create a story about the person’s day using the past simple tense. For example:
She woke up and had a cup of coffee.
She went to be at 9 o’clock.
