What is Victoria Peak in Hong Kong?

With an altitude of over 1,800 feet, Victoria Peak is the highest point in Hong Kong. For around 150 years the area has been home to the rich and famous due to the stunning views of the city and the cooler climate compared to the rest of the territory. It is also a very popular tourist spot which can be reached via the Peak Tram funicular railway which has been transporting residents and visitors to the upper reaches of the mountain since 1888. Once at the top you will find a range of attractions to enjoy, including Madame Tussaud’s wax museum, Ripley’s Believe It or Not Odditorium, two observatory platforms and various shops and restaurants.
